Seven Petal Flower Farm Practices & Policies

CSA Terms & Conditions:

* Start date is subject to change due to weather and crop availability. We put an expected start date in the product description but will contact you if things change.

* In case of absence one week of a CSA you will receive 2 bouquets on your following delivery or pick-up date. You MUST pre-arrange this with us via email prior to absence date.

* We do not deliver or have pick-ups on different days. The farm is only open for pick-up at specified hours or by permission. It is our home.

* Your bouquet will not be the same every week. All CSA bouquets are farmer's choice.

Images online used for advertising, promoting, and sharing the flowers we grow here are not directly representative of the product ordered. We use images that closely resemble what you will receive based on season, variety grown, and product ordered. All images we share are our own, of flowers we grow here on the farm unless otherwise stated. They are representative of what we grow season to season, but not a guarantee of the product you will receive. You receive what we are growing currently and it changes drastically from week 1 to week 10. However, you may get the same things 2 or more weeks in a row due to the growth and bloom pattern or specific flowers used.

* If you see us posting a flower on Instagram/Facebook that you do not get in your bouquet—either we don’t have enough, it's for another item, or we don’t use them in CSA bouquets due to the nature of the flower. If there is something you really want to purchase— please ask to purchase it separately.

* Dahlias are not guaranteed to be included in the Summer share bouquets. You may receive some towards the end of the Summer share. For guaranteed Dahlias please purchase them separately in the Dahlia Share or by contacting us(subject to availability).

Returns:

CSA purchases are non-refundable except within 7 days of purchase. Please contact us via email and we will issue the refund. Purchases of bouquets, arrangements, or buckets of flowers are non-refundable. These are perishable items and we reserve them for customers at the time of purchase.

All Other Online Purchases: We have several products available online for purchase. Please review specifics for each product both here and on the product page.

ALL products available online are Farmer’s Choice unless arrangements via email are made prior to purchase. Farmer’s Choice means we will use flower varieties and colors that are in bloom at the time of assembling. You are responsible for reading directions and specifics for each product. We do not make exceptions to the listed products’ instructions unless you’ve reached out to us via email prior to purchase and we have decided we can accommodate you.

Special Orders:

You can order just about anything if you contact us directly. Pick-up available Tuesday-Friday. Delivery is only available on select days for orders over $25 with our flat rate of $6 per delivery.

Delivery:

*applies to all deliveries including CSAs*

Delivery is available for qualifying purchases to customers within all of Harford County, MD; Conowingo, MD; Rising Sun, MD; Port Deposit, MD; Perryville, MD. Deliveries are NOT available outside of these listed areas.

$6 per delivery.

Once the item is delivered Seven Petal forfeits all responsibility. You are responsible to ensure someone is home to receive flowers and put them in water. Delivery person will knock on a house door(if one is seen) one time only. If no one comes to the door the delivery person will choose the best spot available for the flowers to sit. If you are unsure of delivery times, please contact us via email.

On Farm Event and Photoshoot Terms & Conditions:

By clicking yes or signing you agree to and understand the following rules of our farm:

* You understand that Seven Petal is a working farm.

* Seven Petal has working LGDs. Livestock guardian dogs(LGDs) are not to be approached or touched.

* You must not get within 6 feet of fenced in areas.

* You will not touch the fence— It is electric.

* You understand this is a working farm and outdoor events inherently include bugs and uneven ground. Seven Petal is not responsible for injuries occuring on our farm, or being bitten or stung by insects.

* Seven Petal allows guests to walk around the outside of flower fields. You must not enter any field unless with the owner or an employee of Seven Petal or designated areas set by Seven Petal.

* You will not enter any buildings or structures unless allowed by a Seven Petal owner or employee

* You will not approach any animals/birds at Seven Petal.

* You will maintain social distancing rules(per COVID regulations).

* You have confirmed there are no items on the menu you are allergic to (**for garden party).

* Seven Petal is not responsible for any injuries acquired while on their property from disregarding these rules.

Furthermore:

We are a flower farm first and grow with the intent to be sustainable during our growing season. However, in certain instances and holidays we act as more of a florist. We offer Thanksgiving, Christmas, Easter and Mother’s Day arrangements, as well as large event and wedding design. Thanksgiving and Christmas are most to all ordered flowers and we are transparent when customers order. We like to stay transparent as well as support our community.
